EDITION OF FAITH AND LIFE
CUF’s
critically acclaimed Faith and Life elementary catechism
series is now available in German. The “Glaube und
Leben” series meets a real need for sound catechesis
in Austria, where the new edition was translated and published.
Cardinal
Christoph Schönborn, Archbishop of Vienna and general
editor of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, wrote the
following in his foreword to the German edition (translated
into English by Madeleine Stebbins):
“The appearance of the reworked German edition, Glaube
und Leben, of the American Faith and Life catechism
is a cause of great joy. For the past two decades, Faith
and Life has proven to be an excellent series for religious
instruction in schools and family catechesis in the home.
